This is for you who want more details on how I make the Copper Roses with Brass Leaves

I will try to take some photos of process soon.

These are the steps I take:

First I shape the copper and brass.

Then I braze the copper petals to the (3/32) steel rod and then heat/ cool the copper to get the color.

I shape each flat petal to a rounded shape.

I then attach the brass leaves, one at atime to 1/16 steel rod.

Next I attach{weld) the thiner steel rods with the leaves to the steel stem.

I coat by brazing brass over all the steel, making bumps that look a bit like thorns.

I then clean the brass leaves, dry them, polish, then bend the brass to resemble the veins.

Remove all scale and flux.

Bend, shape some more.

Spray the entire piece with a clear sealer. Twice

24 hours after drying, I slip a piece of dyed reddish cotton in center of rose, then add a few drops of rose oil.

Sign my name and copyright mark on back of leaf.

Add a little gift card with an gold elestic cord and a story card explaining how I made the rose and leaves.
